[Saturday] October the 7 [1815]
This morning has been spent very
busy cleaning house. --In the afternoon, Betsy, Harriet, and myself walked
up to Mr. Prescott's to tea. We spent
a very pleasant afternoon. In the evening, Papa came up on horseback. --Harriet
rode home behind him. Charlotte, Patty, Betsy,
and Lydia came part the way home with us, escorted by their
brother Jonathan. |
