[Saturday] September the 2 [1815]
This has been a very busy day
with me and all--we had our house to clean all over after the rain, and
since ten o'clock I have been making hay till quite dark. -- Papa has been
to town today. He brought me a note from Harriet, and the muslin I sent
for. -- I am too tired to write; and bed, I think, will be the best place.
-- The weather has been very fine today. |
