[Sunday] September the 24 [1815]
Sunday morning. First went to
my dairy and did my usual work. Secondly, prepared dinner. Thirdly, read
a little. Fourthly, dressed myself. Fifthly, saw company. Mr. Beamish came
up and dined with us. Papa went to town and took Georgiana.
After dinner, George Coleman came up. Mr. Allen came over a little while.
Mr. Beamish and me took a little walk to our little bower. -- George and
Charlotte milked the cows, for old Skinner
went off and left us. -- It was late when
Papa got home. And the two gentlemen have taken possession of my room
tonight. |
