[Monday] September the 25 [1815]
The most of this morning was taken
up with house work; and since, I have been spinning. -- I wrote a note
this evening to my friend and sent it
by the milk boy. -- Mr. Beamish and George left here very early this morning,
before we were up. -- Nothing worthy of notice has happened today; we git
on as well as can be expected without Mama. -- Mrs. Brinley has gone to
town to spend some time with Miss Mansfield.
My candle is most out and I must give up writing for tonight. |
